CNY is coming to town!

Had a long day today. After 1 seminar and 2 project meetings, I went to Chinatown with my mom. Man, I just love festive seasons. Chinese New Year is around the corner. The food, the festive goodies, the atmosphere, the people, the buzz, ... Chinatown was full of those. Got to buy preserved fruits (salty and sweet ones), other chinese food, which I don't know the name, clothes and other stuff. And the best one is Ba Kwa (barbecued pork). Wait, don't get me wrong. I'm still an Adventist, so I still don't eat pork. I just choose the chicken version. Don't know the chinese name (even my evil twin bro dunno the name either, so, can't blame me). But in the end, we didn't buy the chicken ba kwa (sounds weird, huh) cuz though it tastes so heavenly, it's also super unhealthy. High in cholesterol, sodium and other bad stuff. Hey man, it's high time that we love our body.

Then, we just walk and walk around Chinatown till my feet went sore before we went home. I was so tired, my legs were almost numb, and yet, the MRT was really packed cuz we 'chose' to go home at rush hour. Sigh...

But, good thing, when my bro came home, he brought some goodies, and guessed what he brought..... Yep, he brought ba kwa! chicken version, of course, and there was like 1 kg of it. My sweeeeet ba kwa. Haha! Well, I can always love my body through other ways. In the meantime, excuse me while I sayang my taste bud.
